The WNBA has claimed that 99 percent of its player have received full vaccinations for Covid-19.

If the claim is valid, of all the U.S. major sports leagues, the WNBA has the highest percentage of vaccinated players.

“Since the start of the regular season, zero new players have returned a confirmed positive test for COVID-19,” the WNBA said in a statement released on June 28 reads.

In a comment on Twitter, the WNBA players’ union also thanked “all of the experts, physicians and other healthcare professionals who dedicated time to our player-led vaccine education sessions during the offseason!”
