Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam will be out for the next five months following surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, the team announced on Friday.
Pascal received the injury during a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on May 8.
The injury will cause him to miss the start of the 2021-2022 season.
Pascal averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last season.
He missed the Raptors’ last four games of the season as he was listed out with a strained left shoulder. The games he missed were losses to the Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, and Indiana Pacers.
