Suggest a New Writer

The SportsWriters’ team has spent significant time researching and identifying the top writers in each market who write for publications that provide free access to their content. Still, we need help. We know that local fans can assist us in adding to our stable of quality writers. If you think we have missed a great sports writer, please let us know, and we’ll review them for inclusion on SportsWriters!

Here are some of the qualifications we look for in writers.

  • Writes about one of the Teams from the NFL, MLB, NBA, or NHL
  • Publishes original articles at least 2-4 times a week
  • Writes for a quality publication
  • Has a track record and history of writing great articles
  • Has written a book
  • Is also a TV or Radio personality
  • Is recognized in his/her Market
  • Has at least 3 years experience
  • Does not rely on rumor or innuendo as basis for writing
  • Is active on Social Media – Twitter, Facebook or Instagram
