Nike has suspended its contract with Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson following accusations of sexual misconduct from 22 women
Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee held a news conference on Tuesday to introduce the first of 22 women to the public to accuse Watson of sexual assault and/or misconduct.
Massage therapist Ashley Solis, who filed the first report accusing Watson of sexual assault, disclosed her identity and said on Tuesday she had suffered anxiety, depression, and panic attacks in the intervening time.
The two claimants also filed a sexual assault suit alleging Watson forced them to perform oral sex on him.
The more women who come forward to accuse Watson of sexual assault or misconduct, the more difficult it will become for the NFL to remain silent.
Houston police and the NFL are both investigating the allegations
