The NBA barred a Brooklyn Nets security guard from working any remaining games of the Eastern Conference semifinal in Milwaukee after he shoved Milwaukee Bucks forward P.J. Tucker. He will not be assigned to the court in Brooklyn for the rest of the series.
Antjuan Lambert, listed in the Nets Media guide as director of team security, pushed Tucker during an altercation between Tucker and the Nets’ Kevin Durant.
Bucks forward Bobby Portis said the security guard “probably did cross the boundaries with that,” referring to Lambert’s aggression during the altercation.
“I know our team security wouldn’t have done that,” Portis continued. “They’d have just stepped in between.”
The Nets lead the series 2-1. Game 4 is Sunday in Milwaukee.
