Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was caught on the wrong side of the camera after shoving a cameraman to the ground following his team’s 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night.

In the final play of the game, Adams and another Chiefs’ wide receiver, Hunter Renfrow, attempted to best the Chiefs to pull out the win. However, the Raiders’ last-minute downfield fourth-and-one pass, in which the two player’s collided, gave the victory to the Chiefs.

As Adams left the playing field angrily, he pushed a cameraman aside who was blocking his exit path. Shortly before that, he could be seen angrily slamming his helmet to the ground before pushing a second cameraman away from him.

The 29-year-old receiver said that he had reached out and apologized to the victim after the clip surfaced online.

“Before I answer anything else, I want to apologize to the guy — some guy running off the field, and he ran, jumped in front of me when we’re coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him, and I think he ended up on the ground,” Adams said.

The man shoved by Davante Adams was later identified by police as Ryan Zebley,  and he suffered whiplash, a headache, and a possible minor concussion from the incident, according to records. Zebley works for ESPN’s Monday Night Football as a freelance photographer.

Wednesday morning, charges were filed in Kansas City’s Municipal Court against Adams by Zebley. Adams is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.

"We obviously don't want any of our guys to be doing anything like that. He knows that. He's very well aware of that. But I know the person; I don't think there was any intent behind it, on his part."

- Raiders coach Josh McDaniels

"I wanted to say sorry to him for that. That was frustration mixed with him running, literally running in front of me, and I shouldn't have responded that way. But that's how I initially responded, so I want to apologize to him for that."

- Davante Adams

"You can't have that."

- Scott Van Pelt
