Putting up a staggering 35-point, 10-rebound double-double, along with 4 assists and 2 steals, on a remarkable 63.2/54.5/100 shooting split, Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a monstrous 123-90 Game 7 win over the ailing Chris Paul-led Phoenix Suns.

Phoenix’s season, which before the playoffs had been the best in franchise history, ended in shocking, confusing, humiliating fashion on Sunday night.

After this performance, there remains little doubt that Doncic is one of the top 3 players in the world.  He is also now considered one of the top clutch performers of all-time!

Luka Manhandled The Suns

Chris Paul and Devin Booker entered the break with a grand total of zero field goals between them. Luka had the same number of points as the entire Suns team at halftime. The game ended with him finishing with 35 points and Phoenix’s starters with 37. It was as thorough a beating as you’ll ever see in professional sports, and that’s even with some great players on the Phoenix side.

In elimination games, Doncic averages 39 points per game, the highest total in NBA history. Among other greats, he beats LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kevin Durant.

"For me, this team is special. These are great guys and we play hard and we help each other”

What turned these Playoffs around for the Mavs

Mavs head coach Jason Kidd has transformed Dallas into a terrific defensive team this season, and that was evident in Game 7.

Still, It's nice to have Doncic!

"It's the same like trash talking. It gets me going. It's another motivation. Everyone had the Suns to win this one, but the whole locker room believed. That’s what won us the game."
