The NBA postseason has gone quite well, despite all the injuries, even without LeBron James.
In April, the four-time MVP discussed the game with Stephen Curry.
LeBron recently reiterated that while filming an episode for his HBO show, “The Shop,” that Golden State is the team that he would like to play for, one of the teams still fighting for a championship.
LeBron possesses as high a basketball IQ as anyone in the league, and he values the way the Warriors play — the constant movement inside and outside the ball to break up defenses.
James and Curry are friends despite having faced each other in four finals.
The Chosen One is also friends with Draymond Green even after what happened in Game 4 of the 2016 finals. James and Green had a ferocious altercation and Green was suspended for Game 5.
“In today’s game, sh— there’s some m——-f——— in today’s game, but Steph Curry,” James said. “Steph Curry’s the one that I wanna play with for sure, in today’s game. ... I love everything about that guy. Lethal. When he get out his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena. ... You might wanna guard him when he gets out of the bed. Swear to god. He’s serious.”

How would Draymond and Lebron co-exist
Ironically, Green is a huge fan of James, who is the only player in NBA history to rank in the all-time top 10 for points and assists. In March, the Warriors forward said James is just as much a GOAT as Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

“Everyone talks about when LeBron overtakes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar this makes him the GOAT. I don’t think becoming the No. 1 makes him more of the GOAT than he already is, “Green he said in his podcast. “What I don’t like to get into is, ‘Oh, is LeBron the GOAT or Michael Jordan?’ No, LeBron is a GOAT and Michael Jordan is a GOAT and they are both amazing and have never played against each other. So how can we ever solve that? “
- Draymond Green

“I definitely want to play Steph Curry in today’s game… I love everything about this guy. Fatal. When he gets out of the car, you’d better guard him from the moment he pulls up to the arena.”

Could James flourish in Warriors system?
James’ transition to the Warriors would likely be smoother. Curry, Thompson, and Jordan Poole could all play off the ball on offense, so there would be no issues. James would adjust to Steve Kerr’s offense since the ball moves constantly. LeBron and Draymond could both run the offense, and they’d be great defensively with James.

What will the King do next?
James averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game in 56 regular-season games this year. He could leave the Lakers next offseason if the Lakers fail to win their 18th NBA championship with Russell Westbrook under Darvin Ham. The possibility exists. His 38th birthday is in December. It has also been rumored that Lebron wants to own a team in Las Vegas. Wow!!!
“Well, he got his wish. He picked me the last two All-Star games. I don’t know if that suffices, but I’m good right now. Whenever you get the interest or curiosity of what it would be like to play with arguably an MVP-caliber dude like he is, one of the greatest of all time, cool. That’s amazing. We can all live in that fantasy world though.”
