Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving helped lead his team to a 115-108 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in a play-in game on Tuesday at Barclays Center.

The 30-year old had an outstanding first half, going nine-for-nine and racking up over 20 points, including a jaw-breaking buzzer-beater going into halftime.

The seven-time NBA All-Star ended up scoring 34 points, dishing out 12 assists, and pulling down three rebounds in the game.

Overall, Brooklyn dominated Cleveland and led 40-20 after the first quarter. The Nets offense efforts were met with slight resistance in the second quarter as the Cavaliers tried to close up the gap.

But, Brooklyn came back hard in the second half to get the win.

For Cleveland, it was a hard battle against Brooklyn, especially for guard Darius Garland who racked up 34 points, five assists and one rebound.

Up next for Steve Nash and his men in the Eastern Conference playoffs are the No.2 Boston Celtics.
