Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving will be able to play again at the Barclays Center following the news that New York City Mayor Eric Adams has lifted the vaccine mandate for crowded indoor activities in New York.
Irving has missed almost four months of basketball due to his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine that prevented him to participate in Brooklyn’s home games.
Former player and NBA pundit Jalen Rose preferred a more straightforward approach to Irving’s situation and said the guard should just get vaccinated so there will be no more unnecessary hurdle for the Nets heading to the playoffs.
“If you want to play the sport just like your teammates, you can actually get vaccinated, Rose said. “The other solution is, your team, you’re the Nets, just won’t meet its goals,” Rose said.
