Following the trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Miami Dolphins have signed wide receiver Tyreek Hill to a four-year contract worth $120 million, $72.2 million guaranteed, in exchange for five draft picks.
Hill made the move official on Twitter after the Dolphins announced the deal, saying, “End of an era, Miami I’m coming home.”
Miami had to give up a 2022 first-round pick, one 2022 second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, and one 2023 sixth-round pick to complete the deal.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid gave his remarks regarding Hill moving to Miami and said both parties parted ways on good terms.
“Myself, my staff and our organization appreciate all he did for our team. This move will also benefit the Chiefs, we now have cap space and additional draft picks to grow as a football team. I wish him well as he moves forward,” Reid said via Kansas City reporter Dan Cohen.
Hill spent six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs after the franchise selected the West Alabama star in the fifth round from the 2016 NFL Draft.
The six-time Pro Bowler closed his last season with the Chiefs recording career-high 111 receptions and nine touchdowns.

CBS is truly for old people. It’s late to the game and their grade scheme doesn’t matter

Trade just hurts kc now but helps them in the long run. I hate the team but they are going to do just fine without the guy.

Obviously it means chiefs super offense has questions now but I feel like if anyone can figure out replacements it’s Reid. Miami on the other hand , unless tua drastically gets better, is still competing against the patriots for second place in afc east and still not in a contender position with how things have changed in the afc overall
Dolphins had draft capital to spare All that money though, is very interesting
