Tampa Bay Buccaneers star player Tom Brady became the first quarterback in NFL history to pass for 100,000 career yards.

He reached that mark after a 15-yard completion to running back Leonard Fournette in the Bucs 16-13 Week 9 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees ranks second with 85,724 passing yards. Behind him is the Indianapolis Colts’ Peyton Manning in third at 79,279 yards.

“It’s all about the win,” Brady said. “It’s all about the win, man. I never cared about the records. All about the win.”

Brady’s 266.2 passing-yard average ranks ninth all-time, trailing behind the Rams’ Matthew Stafford, the Cleveland Browns’ Deshaun Watson and the Colts’ Matt Ryan.

Currently, at 64,415 yards, Ryan will likely be the next quarterback to reach the 100,000-yard threshold.

Green Bay Packers top quarterback Aaron Rodgers comes in second at 63,054, averaging 261.3 yards per game in 243 career matchups. To get to the mark, Rodgers will have to play 140 more games or 7.75 seasons. He would be 46 by then.

Despite the milestone, Brady’s 22nd season as a starting quarterback in the NFL has been somewhat of a letdown. He has only completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 2,267 yards with nine touchdowns and one interception entering Week 9.

Brady is the oldest active NFL player, five years older than the 40-year-old Jason Peters, the second oldest active player. The seven-time Super Bowl winner turned 45 last August.

“We always have a chance with Brady, We’re grateful to have him. He got over 100,000 yards; that’s a long playing career for anybody. He’s still playing at a high level. We love the guy to death.”

- Todd Bowles

"I think for me it's a credit to all the guys that I've played with, and who have blocked for me, who have caught passes."
