LaMelo Ball had a triple-double, while Kelly Oubre Jr. hit 10 three-pointers en route to 39 points, as the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Indiana Pacers 158-126 Wednesday night in Indianapolis.

The Hornets 158 points was a franchise single-game scoring record, while also being an NBA season-high. The club’s all-time record was set this season in a 146-143 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets on November 27.

The Pacers, who were led by 17 points from both Goga Bitadze and youngster Isaiah Jackson, dropped their third straight game and eighth in a row.

“It happens, you’ve just got to keep going and playing tougher like we did on the West Coast,” Bitadze stated. “It’s hard. It’s not like you’re going to forget about it. You’ve got to use it as motivation.”

Charlotte led the game at halftime, 71-70, after scoring 12 of the first 15 points. The Hornets started the third quarter on a 7-0 run and used a 13-2 run to grab a 104-82 lead with 4:18 remaining.

As Charlotte scored a season-high point total, Ball poured in 29 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds.
