Sunday afternoon was supposed to feature a clash between the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center. With the NBA more than two weeks into its coronavirus-enforced hiatus, that game won’t be happening.
However, there will indeed be a game – one of the virtual variety – between the Bucks and Mavericks. Instead of playing in person, three members of each team will go head-to-head online in a three-on-three, best-of-five series of NBA 2K20.
Donte DiVincenzo, D.J. Wilson and Cameron Reynolds will be on the joysticks for the Bucks while Seth Curry, Antonius Cleveland and Dorian Finney-Smith will represent the Mavericks. DiVincenzo and Curry will serve as team captains, providing on-camera commentary throughout the games.
The games will begin at 2 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Bucks’ Twitch page, https://www.twitch.tv/BucksTV.
