Washington Wizards coronavirus tracker: Who’s in and who’s out?

The Wizards, like many teams across the NBA, have been hit hard by a surge of positive coronavirus tests.

Washington has nine players in health and safety protocols as of January 3rd. An outbreak in December caused one matchup against the Brooklyn Nets to get postponed, though new protocols from the league could help prevent any more schedule complications.

As a part of significant changes to the NBA’s health and safety protocols, isolation periods for players who test positive may now be shortened from 10 days down to six days, provided those players are asymptomatic and meet other testing standards.

Here is a look at which Wizards players are out due to COVID-19 along with the day they entered health and safety protocols.
