For the Cleveland Browns, this is your basic frying-pan-to-the-fire type deal. Five days after an excruciating, last-second 16-14 loss at home to the Las Vegas Raiders that, if it didn’t turn off the lights on Cleveland’s postseason hopes, it certainly dimmed them, the Browns will try to get the win denied them on Monday of this week, by winning on Saturday.

All it will take to do that will be to beat the great Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, in Green Bay, at legendary Lambeau Field. No, the Browns are not intimidated.

“They have a stadium. They got seats,” said Browns rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. “They got a grass field. They got some good fans, and some good cheese, I’m assuming. We’ll be ready.”

Some, but not all of the Browns, that is.

In the loss to the Raiders Cleveland was, thanks to positive COVID-19 tests, missing over 20 players and three coaches, including head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Some, but not all of those missing pieces will be back for Saturday’s game with the Packers. Stefanski will be back, the team is hopeful…
