Orioles unveil renderings of Camden Yards’ left-field changes, with wall moving nearly 30 feet back

The Orioles hope this effort will reduce the ballpark’s home run friendliness. Over the past three seasons, there have been 72 more home runs hit at Camden Yards than any other ballpark, a difference as wide as that of the stadiums that rank second and 13th. Since 2002, when the Orioles last altered the ballpark’s dimensions to their original form after a one-year change in 2001, Oriole Park is the only venue where there have been more than 4,000 home runs, with 18 other teams playing in the same home ballpark over that time, as well.
