JACKSONVILLE – It’s official: The fifth-round selection is signed.
Snoop Conner, the No. 154 overall selection by the Jaguars in the 2022 NFL Draft, has signed his rookie contract. The team announced the signing Thursday afternoon, a day before the first day of the team’s rookie minicamp at TIAA Bank Field.
Conner (5-feet-10, 222 pounds), a running back who played three seasons at Mississippi, played in 35 games in college. He rushed for 1,580 career yards with 26 touchdowns, including 647 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2021. He also caught 32 passes for 225 yards.
The Jaguars on Thursday also officially signed four other ’22 draft selections: Outside linebacker Travon Walker (Round 1, No. 1 overall, Georgia), linebacker Devin Lloyd (Round 1, No. 27 overall, Utah), cornerback Greg Junior (Round 6, No. 197 overall, Ouachita Baptist) and cornerback Montaric Brown (Round 7, No. 222, Arkansas).
Two Jaguars ’22 selections remain unsigned: offensive lineman Luke Fortner (Round 3, No. 65 overall, Kentucky) and linebacker Chad Muma (Round 3, No. 70 overall, Wyoming).
