As far as Jujhar Khaira is concerned, video of him struggling to find his balance after a taking a routine hit April 19 against Montreal is much worse than the actual injury.

It was a frightening scene that had Oilers fans concerned for the 26-year-old’s health and future, particularly after he was concussed in a fight a month earlier, but Khaira says he felt fine within minutes of the second incident and has been symptom free ever since.

“I definitely got my bell rung, but by the time I was in the tunnel I felt back to normal pretty quickly,” he said before returning to the Oilers lineup Monday.

“Confidence-wise, my comfort level is 100 per cent. The frustrating thing was not being able to play. For myself, it was just focusing day by day to get back as soon as possible.”
