Goaltender Clément Diop and CF Montréal have parted ways.

The MLS team released a statement Tuesday saying CFM and the player had reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract and the Journal de Montréal said that it was Diop who asked to be released.
The announcement came as the team was leaving for a road game Wednesday against FC Cincinnati (7:30 p.m, TVA Sports, TSN-690 Radio).
Diop, a 27-year-old Frenchman of Senegalese descent, was in his fourth season in Montreal after being acquired off waivers from the L.A. Galaxy.
