The Edmonton Oil Kings may have one of the most talented junior hockey teams ever assembled, with only one outcome deeming the season a success.

The Oil Kings made it to the WHL Final after taking out the Winnipeg Ice in five games in the Eastern Conference Final, clinching the series with an emphatic 7-1 victory at Rogers Place on Friday.
It’s Memorial Cup championship or bust for the Oil Kings, who await the winner of the WHL Western Conference Final between the Kamloops Blazers and Seattle Thunderbirds. The Blazers took a 3-2 series lead with an overtime victory Friday in Kamloops. Game 6 is Sunday in Seattle.
