Eagles first-round draft prospects: LB Micah Parsons makes the grade but team doesn’t value the position

The year was 1970, when the Eagles selected Steve Zabel out of Oklahoma with the No. 6 overall pick. The late, great Pete Retzlaff was the general manager. Some guy named Jerry Williams was the coach. Training camp was at Albright College. And Zabel, who also was a tight end, didn’t even play linebacker until his second year.
