Canadiens head coach Dominique Ducharme juggled his forward lines and defence pairings again at practice Monday after the team got off to an 0-3-0 start to the season while scoring only three goals.

Mike Hoffman, who has been sidelined since the start of training camp, was at left wing on the third line with Adam Brooks at centre and Brendan Gallagher at right wing. The Canadiens claimed Brooks off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs last week.

After being moved down to the third line for Saturday night’s 3-1 loss to the New York Rangers, Tyler Toffoli was back on the first line at practice Monday with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.

Jake Evans, who had been playing centre on the third line, didn’t take part in the practice, taking a therapy day instead.…
