In the bigger picture, the Leafs will shoot for their first six-game winning streak since December 2019.

Toronto has won eight of its past nine games and has opened a five-point lead (57-52) on the Edmonton Oilers for first place in the North Division. The Leafs have a game in hand over the Oilers, who play in Calgary against the Flames on Saturday night.
