After 10 seasons away, Paul Friedman is again the Chicago Cubs’ Wrigley Field PA announcer — but only for a month

“One of the first things I was asked to do when I started in 1995 and through my career was call the home-run distances,” said Friedman, who is filling in at Wrigley Field during April. “I was told, ‘When somebody hits a ball into the stands, it’s up to you to come up with a distance.’
