Shailene Woodley may have just hinted the reason why fiancé Aaron Rodgers turned down his Green Bay Packers extension offer.
Woodley retweeted a video suggesting that Rodgers felt disrespected by the Packers.
The video was originally shared by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. It is a clip from his show, “First Take,” which aired on Tuesday, where Smith reacted to the news.
“This is proof of what I’ve been talking about for months. It’s not about football. It’s not just about the money,” said Smith.
ESPN senior NFL analyst Adam Schefter first revealed the news that Rodgers wanted to leave the team.
“Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday,” Schefter wrote on Twitter in May.
